How to Add CARBS Back Into Your Diet (How to Refeed)

I’ve heard some people say that it’s okay to eat the same amount of calories as your body weight as long as you increase your intake each week. I wonder if it’s possible to get those extra calories without gaining fat. So in order to increase my caloric intake each week I must be sure to eat more each day. Is there a formula to that?

It has been proven that if you eat 1,000 calories more each day you will not gain a pound of fat. For example if you ate 2,000 calories more each day you would still add 50 grams of fat. There is no point of gaining fat if it comes off without even noticing.

There are too many calories and foods in the world out there that are just going to keep piling up and building up fat. So how do you eat less calories and still be sure to get all the essential nutrients?

What I found interesting was that it doesn’t have to be complicated. The formula that I use and what I recommend is this: Use the same amount of calories from foods that are essential. That means lean protein, carbs, fat and water.

Cut out all the calories and junk food that is not really a calorie. Cut out 500 calories from fast food. If you eat 500 calories of fast food then you are going to have to eat another 500 of protein, 500 of carbs and 500 of healthy fat.

If you do this then don’t worry that you are going to have to go eat more. There is no way that you are going to have extra calories that you have to eat. You can get the healthy fat and essential nutrients from the same foods that are essential. If you eat the same amount of calories from foods that are essential then you are guaranteed to get all the nutrients you need.

There are too many people in the world who say that eating less calories is unhealthy. I want to make it clear that eating 500 calories less each day is fine. I know for me it is fine to not gain any fat. If you stick to this process you will notice that you get the benefits of eating less calories.

The foods that you are eating also depend on what is essential to you. If you are a vegan then you will have to eat the leanest meats because meat is protein and calories. Eating the leanest meats is essential to a person who is a vegan. I also don’t recommend eating fast food because fast foods have a lot of sodium. It is better to eat a salad than a fast food meal.

The point of this exercise is to say that you can eat 500 calories of a lean meat that you love instead of eating a bunch of calories from fast foods. It depends on how you love the foods and what is essential to you. It is up to you to eat less calories. If you do this then you will notice that you are losing weight. You may have to go eat more but it will be worth it. If you do this then it is not really a concern to me.
